WELCOME TO ART 4 VETERANS HEREFORDSHIRE
Helping veterans through art
The aim of the group, is to improve the health and well being of Veterans and serving personnel of the Armed Forces and Emergency service. workers, who live and work in our community. Through art we empower members with new skills and knowledge.
Classes are provided in a friendly and inclusive environment which allows veterans to not only learn, but also have fun, this helps to relieve anxiety and promote good mental health.

ART 4 VETERANS
What we do
The classes are run by 3 tutors, Paul Crow, Karen Bourke and Anna Knight, each with their own experience and knowledge of the arts. Members are taught many different art processes such as

Drawing
-
Painting using acrylics, watercolours and inks

Screen printing, heat transfer, mono printing.

Ceramics & sculpture
The class is held at Hinton Community Centre in Hereford. This provides a safe, comfortable and supportive environment for 3 hours a week.
The social and individual benefits of the course are evident and our members are happy and creating some really good art work.
