It represents regimented lines of soldiers depicted as poppies blowing in the wind, preparing to advance to the horizon and their final conflict. The sun setting in the red sky and the English church on the horizon, adds to the drama and symbolism of this work that is favoured by those who have military links. Paul is ex military and completed three operational tours of duty. He comes from a long line of military family so understands the importance of Remembrance and honouring those that made the ultimate sacrifice. Paul is an artist based in Hereford and works directly from his own studio.  The original is Acrylic on canvas and the size was 1000 x 700mm.
